“The Dreamlife of Pascal D’Angelo” in VIA: Voices in Italian Americana

My great thanks to Bordighera Press and the journal VIA: Voices in Italian Americana for including my essay “The Dreamlife of Pascal D’Angelo” in its Spring 2021 issue.

This essay is a deeper take on one that I wrote back in February 2017 for the earlier version of this blog (a link to that essay is here, while a link to VIA‘s homepage, where one can order the journal, is here).

I’m in great company among the writers in VIA, and I must give shout-outs to lovely Siân Gibby for making this happen, to the poet Dennis Barone, and to Nicholas Grosso at VIA.

“I am a poor worker,” D’Angelo wrote, “but a rich defender of truth.”
